| Description of Leon Grivel by Karen Cobeen:
Leon Grivel (Sr.) had three children which are shown on the
attached family group forms. Leon Sr lived most his life in southern
California and his occupation was as a general contractor.
He lived a brief period in Smith Valley, Nevada where he owned a
cattle ranch. The "Artesia Ranch" I believe. In his latter years,
he moved to Corpus Christi, Texas where he continued the contractor
trade in partnership with his son, among others. After his wife
died (Marie Russo), he remarried a woman named Lynn. I don't recall
her last name. They had no children. Leon, Sr. like his father, also
was a mining engineer. Profession(s): general contractor; cattle ranch owner |
